SMTP Proxy w/ Email Component?

I have seen your mail component in your website and the examples given to use it from Visual Basic 6. I am very much satisfied after testing your trial mail component, and I am willing to buy it from you. But, I am facing one problem, as I am using your component to send and retreive mail from a SSL mail server from a direct Ineternet connected machine it is working properly, but while i am trying the same code from a machine which is in LAN and connected to Internet via proxy server, the code is not able to send or retrive mail.

Please send me an example code in VB6 how to connect to my mail server using proxy.

The best solution is to first try getting email to work using a major email client such as Mozilla Thunderbird. Once that is working, send me all of the details (support@chilkatsoft.com) regarding your SMTP/POP3 (or IMAP) settings and I will then show you how to do the same using Chilkat.
