Objective-C DH Examples
The Diffie Hellman Objective-C library allows two parties that have no prior knowledge of each other to jointly establish a shared secret key over an insecure communications channel. This key can then be used to encrypt subsequent communications using a symmetric key cipher.
Diffie-Hellman Objective-C Library Features
Diffie-Hellman key exchange (D-H) is a cryptographic protocol that allows two parties that have no prior knowledge of each other to jointly establish a shared secret key over an insecure communications channel. This key can then be used to encrypt subsequent communications using a symmetric key cipher.
Synonyms of Diffie-Hellman key exchange include:
- Diffie-Hellman key agreement
- Diffie-Hellman key establishment
- Diffie-Hellman key negotiation
- Exponential key exchange
Component Features:
- Simple 2-step Method for Computing a Shared Secret
- Safe prime generation. Generate new P and G values.
- Ability to use Known Primes from RFC 2409 and RFC 3526 (Oakley and MODP groups)
