Compression Tool License Clarification

I am a developer and is in the process of evaluating compresson tools.

I wish to develop a program with compression tool embedded in it and sell it to clients who would then use the embedded compression tool for creating self extractable file(autorun a specified file)

I note from your website that I need to take only One License and my clients who would use the embedded software for creating self self-extractable files will not require license.

PLEASE CONFIRM WHETHER THIS UNDERSTANDING IS CORRECT so that I can take a final decision to use your product.

Also PLEASE confirm : The relevance of One Year License (I do not want my customers to land in any license problem after one year. Also what is the relevance of unlock code? What happens after a year?)

Yes, the Chilkat components and libraries allow for royalty-free redistribution of the DLLs with your application. Your application's end-users do not require a license. The "One Year" applies to support. Your unlock code does not expire after one year. With respect to Subscription purchases, the "One Year" timeframe means that you are supported for one year, and you are automatically licensed for any new Chilkat components / libraries released within one year of your purchase. Once purchased, a Chilkat license does not expire, and all new-version upgrades are free.
