Chilkat Lib for C++ Builder XE2 Install Instructions

Download and unzip to any directory. The download contains the following files:

README.txt         Make sure to read this before beginning.
LICENSE.txt         The Chilkat license agreement.
chilkatXE2.lib        The static library containing the Chilkat C++ classes.
linkSample.cpp     A simple C++ program to test compiling and linking.
LinkSample.cbproj    A C++ Builder XE2 project to build and run linkSample.cpp
include            Directory containing the Chilkat header (.h) files.

To get started, start the C++ Builder XE2 developer studio, open the LinkSample project, build, and run.

Chilkat Lib for C++ Builder v5.5 Install Instructions

Download and unzip to any directory. The download contains the following files:

README.txt         Make sure to read this before beginning.
chilkat.lib        The static library containing the Chilkat C++ classes.
linkSample.cpp     A simple C++ program to test compiling and linking.
makeSample.bat     Compiles and links "linkSample.cpp" to produce "linkSample.exe".  

                   IMPORTANT: The directory paths in "makeSample.bat" must be updated
                   to use the path where your bcc32 is installed.
                   
runSample.bat      Runs "linkSample.exe"
include            Directory containing the Chilkat header (.h) files.

To get started, build and run "linkSample.cpp", following the instructions in the "README.txt" provided in the download.
